Scott Pampuch

Corner Table, a charming and inviting eatery in the Kingfield neighborhood of Minneapolis, offers diners a relaxed environment in which to enjoy Chef/Owner Scott Pampuch's creations that range from familiar comfort foods to more classic cuisine. You'll often find Scott strolling the uncluttered and elegantly decorated dining room, where he takes pleasure in engaging with folks dining on his unpretentiously sophisticated dishes.

Scott opened Corner Table with a less is more, no nonsense approach that has won him praise from critics and food lovers alike. The menu changes monthly and Scott is often inspired to create unexpected international dishes alongside his famed "meat and potatoes" fare.

Much of this inspiration comes from our region's farms. Word on the street is that Scott is a masterful meat cook and he sources all of his meat through the Southeast Minnesota Food Network. He has a longstanding relationship with this 80+ farm network and having grown up in Winona, it seems natural that he would rely on the area's resources, which he largely credits for the quality of his menu. "We use them exclusively for all of our meat, chicken, pork, beef, lamb. How could I not?" says Pampuch.

However meat is not the only ingredient that Scott sources from the Network and he loves the quality of aged cheeses that artisan cheesemaker (and Network Coordinator) Pam Benike and her "girls" create. Pam owns Prairie Hollow Farm in Elgin. "I love the cows, I love the soil, I love the land," Benike says. "This is the life I love."
